Tarte Banane- Banana tart.

Tarte Banane is a soft tart that crumbles when you take a bite, with gouey and sweet banana inside. It is one my favourite deserts after a delicious Mauritian meal. It is the perfect size if you are portion sizing your intake as a treat.

Influenced from the French cultures and culinary practices, this tarte has become part of Mauritian culture of having a Tarte Banane for evening tea.

Tarte Banane is sold in all Bakeries in Mauritius and is made from very few ingredients, Butter, Sugar, Egg, Flour and Ripe Banana.
